Sherwood Voters Urged to Drop Off Ballots at Two Official Collection Sites
Washington County elections officials are encouraging voters in the City of Sherwood to drop off their ballots as soon as possible regarding the city council Recall Election. It is now too late to mail in ballots before the 8 p.m. deadline on Tuesday, October 17.
With only a few days left in the vote-by-mail election period, Washington County has received 2,393 ballots so far, or about 20 percent of all registered voters in the City of Sherwood.
Voters throughout Sherwood should have received their recall ballots by mail earlier this week. Both the envelopes containing these ballots and the return envelopes with space for each voter to sign on the back will be labeled "RECALL" to distinguish them from ballots to be mailed separately for the Special Election this November.
24-hour Drop-off Sites
Voters may drop off their completed ballots at two 24-hour drop-off sites, including:
- Washington County Elections Office, 3700 S.W. Murray Boulevard, Beaverton (Look for the slot in the front lobby.)
- Sherwood City Hall, 22560 S.W. Pine Street, Sherwood
