Traffic Changes to Help Voters Beat 2014 General Election Deadline
Washington County elections officials are asking last-minute voters to drop off their ballots at official collection sites as soon as possible so that all ballots are processed in a timely manner.
With only a few days left in the state's vote-by-mail election period, Washington County has received 78,722 ballots, or about 27 percent of all registered voters in the county so far.
Hillsboro Voters to Return Both Original and Supplemental Ballots
Voters in Hillsboro should complete and return both their original ballot and a supplemental ballot mailed on October 27 listing the correct number of candidates running for Hillsboro City Council Ward 2, Position A. The original ballot incorrectly listed three candidates when only two should have appeared. Votes cast for every candidate and measure on the original ballot will be counted, except those cast for Hillsboro City Council Ward 2, Position A. Only votes cast using the supplemental ballot will be counted for the Hillsboro City Council race.
