A Hillsboro man is in custody after nearly hitting a deputy while attempting to flee from a traffic stop.

On Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a man entering a 7-year-old girl’s bedroom window at the Court Yards at Springville apartments. This is in the 17000 block of NW Springville Road in the Bethany area of unincorporated Washington County.

On Saturday, December 22, 2018, 2018, at 10:40 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an injury crash involving five vehicles at SW 170th Avenue and SW Farmington Road in Aloha.

On Monday, January 21, 2019, at 1:42 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence in the 2000 block of Southwest 209th Court in Aloha. Deputies were told that William Callaway, who was wanted for dragging a North Plains Police officer while fleeing a traffic stop, was at the residence. While responding, deputies were told that Mr. Callaway had stolen a family member’s wallet and ran out of the house.

On Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 3:45 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the report of a crash in the 19100 block of SW Pacific Highway near the city of Sherwood.

On Thursday, September 12, 2019, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to several 9-1-1 calls about a man with a gun in the area of NW Old Quarry Road and NW 119th Avenue in unincorporated Washington County, north of Beaverton. 

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man after allegedly assaulting another person with a machete who had been sleeping in a residence.

On Saturday, July 25, 2020, at 2:04 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on SW River Rd, South of SW Farmington Rd. A single vehicle had left the road and struck a tree.

On Tuesday December 4, 2019, at 9:31 a.m., a Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a call near the 8500 block of SW Oleson Rd. regarding a male who was making gun gestures at passing vehicles. When the deputy arrived, he was confronted by 34-year-old Daniel Bean of Portland. Mr. Bean pointed a rifle at the deputy then retreated into his home.

Man Arrested After Pursuit, Attempt to Run Over Police Sergeant

On August 22, 2019, at 7:55 p.m., deputies were dispatched to reports of a serious crash near the intersection of SW Blanton Street and SW 175th Avenue in Aloha.

An intoxicated man was riding on a public transportation bus when he began threatening passengers and the driver. He was arrested and is facing multiple charges.

A Beaverton man was arrested after he threatened Sheriff’s Deputies who were attempting to arrest him on felony warrants. The man barricaded himself in his apartment and was ultimately arrested.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies and Tualatin Police Officers arrested a man who was caught groping three women in a park and in an apartment complex. Investigators are seeking additional victims.

A man was arrested on multiple charges after he tried to stab other patrons and security staff at an Aloha bar.

A man was tracked Saturday morning by two law enforcement canine teams after assaulting someone and trying to steal a car in Cornelius. He was later arrested.

On Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at approximately 5:15 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a theft in progress call at the Sylvan Heights Condominium Community in the 7700 block of Southwest Barnes Road. This is in the Sylvan area of unincorporated Washington County.

A Garden Home man was arrested after attacking his landlord with a sword. Both men live in the same residence.

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man after he fired a handgun in close proximity to people at a residence. The man fled and was captured shortly afterward.

On August 12, 2020, at approximately 10:48 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a vacant home at the corner of SW 174th Avenue and SW Arborcrest Way in the community of Aloha. Neighbors had reported a fire and said they had heard explosions coming from the house. Deputies, along with fire crews from Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, responded to the location, but soon retreated to a safe distance after an unknown man threw an empty wine bottle and part of a shotgun at the deputy.
