UPDATE - Possible Human Trafficking Victim Located

This evening, Adrian Brown was located safe in Vancouver, Washington. The Vancouver Police Department was alerted to her presence at a convenience store where they took her into custody without incident. She will be returned to her guardian in Oregon at a later date.

Drug Turn-In Event Huge Success

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office hosted a drug turn-in event on April 26, 2014 at the Farmington Road Bales Thriftway. During the four hour event, the Sheriff’s Office received about 320 pounds of drugs for destruction. This event is in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Agency held every April and October.

Weekend Nets 11 DUIIs, Two Crashes

Since midnight yesterday Sheriff’s deputies have arrested 11 DUII drivers, including two related crashes. One of the crashes was a head-on collision on SW Pacific Highway (Hwy. 99W) near King City. Three people went to the hospital as a result of that crash.

UPDATE - Detectives Search for Endangered Runaway

April 22, 2014--Washington County Sheriff’s Office Detectives received information that Steven Zellmer was in Pittsburgh headed to a bus terminal. The Sheriff’s Office relayed the current information to the Pittsburgh Philadelphia Police Department who promptly took Steven into protective custody. Steven was in good physical condition and will be returned to his parents for his continued care.
