To aid readers, Library catalog now offers read-alike suggestions

Washington County, Oregon: The Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) is pleased to announce the release of expanded review content and read-alike suggestions to help readers find what they are looking for in the WCCLS catalog. You will find the new content and suggestions, whether you are using a desktop computer or a mobile device.

If you are looking for new books to enjoy – check out the recently released book recommendation feature in the wccls.org catalog. It recommends books based on the title or author you are searching. If the book is part of a series, you will also see the other books in the series, and in which order they come. Book reviews and ratings are included in this enhanced service, and are powered by the popular social reading site Goodreads.

To get started, go to catalog.wccls.org (or m.wccls.org for our mobile site), click on the title of the book in your search results, and then scroll down to find the Recommended for You heading. Click once again on a title to place a hold on your next great read!

You can also access author read-alikes, award winners, book discussion guides, and featured articles. Enjoy the ease and convenience of one-stop browsing within the WCCLS catalog with our enhanced online book review and recommendation service.

The Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS), includes the: Banks Public Library, Beaverton City Library, Beaverton City Library @ Murray Scholls, Cedar Mill Community Library, Cedar Mill Community Library @ Bethany, Cornelius Public Library, Forest Grove City Library, Garden Home Community Library, Hillsboro Public Libraries (Main and Shute Park), North Plains Public Library, Sherwood Public Library, Tigard Public Library, Tualatin Public Library, and West Slope Community Library.
