Washington County, Oregon: Are you interested in downloading e-books from the Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) but find them a bit tricky to use? A simple new option is coming for WCCLS library cardholders on Tuesday, September 23rd. It is easy to use, links up to your WCCLS online account, and has lots of great new titles for all ages.
Join us at our "E-books are Easy" launch parties on the 23rd as we officially announce the name of our new e-book service.
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Hillsboro Main Library (2850 NE Brookwood Parkway)
4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Tualatin Public Library (18878 Martinazzi Avenue)
Get a personal demonstration of the new e-book service from library staff, enjoy refreshments, and enter to win a free Samsung Galaxy tablet.
With the launch of this new service, WCCLS is adding e-book titles for readers of all ages - kids, teens and adults. Enjoy finding the latest bestseller or read one of those titles that never seem to go out of circulation. WCCLS will be growing the collection over time and working to keep hold queues short. We will continue to offer the Library2Go service that you may already use and enjoy. WCCLS is adding this second e-book service to respond to your feedback and keep up with the ever-growing demand for e-books.
We are excited to offer this simple, integrated solution for e-books at WCCLS! Stop by one of the launch parties or stay tuned for more details when the new service is officially released on September 23rd.
