GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION POSTPONED FOR 2ND TIME: Aloha Community Library Remains Closed Due to Inclement Weather

Washington County, Oregon: The Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) has received word once again that the rescheduled Grand Opening Celebration for the Aloha Community Library that was planned for Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. has been POSTPONED for a second time due to the record snow storm that has impacted the local community this week.

Once the snow and ice clears the library plans to return to their regular schedule. The newly expanded Aloha Community Library is located at 17455 SW Farmington Road, Suite 26A in Aloha. The Library phone number did not change in the move, it remains 503-259-0185.

The expanded Library open hours are:

  • Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Thursday & Friday noon – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS) includes: Banks Public Library, Beaverton City Library, Beaverton City Library @ Murray Scholls, Cedar Mill Community Library, Cedar Mill Community Library @ Bethany, Cornelius Public Library, Forest Grove City Library, Garden Home Community Library, Hillsboro Public Libraries (Main and Shute Park), North Plains Public Library, Sherwood Public Library, Tigard Public Library, Tualatin Public Library, and West Slope Community Library. Two specialty libraries are also a part of the Cooperatives library card service — the Oregon College of Art & Craft and the Tuality Health Education Resource Center.
