Proclamation issued for Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

Everyone wins when people with developmental disabilities receive the supports and opportunities they need in order to be contributing members of their communities.

Office Closure and Changes

The Developmental Disabilities Service Center East office located at 3700 SW Murray Blvd, Suite 2100 in Beaverton has permanently transitioned to "appointment only." The lobby is closed to walk-in traffic. You may still use our outdoor dropbox for submitting paperwork.

Our Hillsboro location at 5240 NE Elam Young Parkway, Suite 150 is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

On March 7, the Washington County Board of Commissioners proclaimed March 2023 as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. Washington County calls upon the community to recognize the contributions and abilities of individuals with developmental disabilities and encourages everyone to strive for integration, inclusion, support and acceptance.
