Washington County Hosts Memorial Day Ceremony

The public is invited to a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25, at 2 p.m., at the Washington County Fairground's Veterans Memorial Gateway, on the corner of NE 34th Avenue and Veterans Drive, Hillsboro.

The event will honor our nation's brave service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Hillsboro Mayor Jerry Willey will serve as the ceremony's host, and Washington County Sheriff Pat Garrett will be the keynote speaker.

The Memorial Day Ceremony will take place rain or shine. Attendees may park in TriMet's lot at the Fair Complex/Hillsboro Airport station. For more information, call Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services at 503-846-3051.
