H1N1 vaccine is being distributed weekly to healthcare providers for priority populations as it becomes available. CDC-defined priority populations are considered to be those with the highest risk for severe H1N1 complications:
- Pregnant women
- Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age
- Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
- All people from 6 months through 24 years of age
- Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.
How Can You Get Vaccinated?
- If you have a healthcare provider (doctor, clinic), please call them to get an appointment. Remember vaccine is shipped weekly so you may need to check back with them.
- If you do not have a healthcare provider, please call 503.846.8851. We have a limited amount of vaccine to distribute weekly for individuals without a doctor and who meet the criteria listed above.
Thank you for your continued patience. The shortage of H1N1 vaccine continues to make H1N1 vaccination efforts very challenging.
