Public Meeting on Proposed Garbage and Recycling Collection Rate Increases
THE WASHINGTON COUNTY SOLID WASTE ADVISORY COMMITTEE* will hold a public meeting to discuss recommended increases to residential and commercial garbage collection rates for residents and businesses in unincorporated Washington County.

Washington County Cameron Public Services Building (Auditorium, 1st Floor)
155 North First Avenue Hillsboro, Oregon
Any person may attend the meeting and provide comments to the Solid Waste Advisory Committee regarding the proposed rate changes.

* The nine-member Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) makes recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on solid waste and recycling policy and program issues. Members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners - six members represent the public and three members represent the solid waste industry. A representative of the County Health and Human Services Department serves as a non-voting Committee member. The Committee typically meets the second Thursday of each month from 10:00 AM– 12:00 PM at the County's Public Services Building in Hillsboro. Meeting agendas are posted to the web page listed below. The public is welcome to attend meeting.
