Washington County has relocated its Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Tigard. The new office is located in the Hilltop Business Center, 7360 SW Hunziker Road, Suite 200.
Staff will begin seeing participants there on December 9. The former office, located at 15296 SW Royalty Parkway, has closed.
Washington County serves 19,000 individuals per year in Washington County at its three locations in Hillsboro, Beaverton and Tigard. The WIC program focuses on nutritional education and support to low-income pregnant women and families with young children. It includes breastfeeding support groups, nutrition education and vouchers for healthful foods available locally.
