Focus Groups to Inform Strategic Plan for Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services

Community input is sought from older adults, veterans and people with disabilities in Washington County.

Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services is seeking public input as they begin to develop their strategic plan for 2015-2017. Shrinking resources coupled with increased demands for services makes it crucial to engage the community in the process.

The purpose of the focus groups is to determine which issues are most important to older adults, veterans and people with disabilities in Washington County.

The focus groups are scheduled for:
  • Monday, Nov. 17, 10 a.m. – noon, King City Clubhouse, 15245 SW 116th Ave.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 25, 1:30-3 p.m., Beaverton Library, 12375 SW 5th St.
  • Monday, Dec. 1, 1:30-3 p.m., Forest Grove Community Auditorium, 1915 Main St.
  • Tuesday, Dec. 2, 6-8 p.m., Aloha American Legion Hall, Post 104, 20325 SW Alexander St.
