Developmental Disabilities Resource Fair on May 1

The annual Washington County Resource Fair for people with developmental disabilities takes place on Thursday, May 1, from 11 a.m. – 7. p.m., at the Aloha Community Center, 4375 SW Edwards Place.

The annual Washington County Resource Fair for people with developmental disabilities takes place on Thursday, May 1, from 11 a.m. – 7. p.m., at the Aloha Community Center, 4375 SW Edwards Place.

More than 40 exhibitors will be on hand to share information about housing, social security, brokerage services, employment, self advocacy and recreation opportunities. Much of the focus will be on transitioning from high school to adult life. Care for adult children will be available if needed so parents can take advantage of the fair.

The free event is sponsored by the Edwards Center in partnership with Washington County Developmental Disabilities. More information is available by calling 503-642-1581.
