Coffee and Conversation for Senior LGBT Community

Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services Family Caregiver Support Program is sponsoring a free “Coffee and Conversation” on November 19, for seniors in the LGBT community. Their friends, family members and caregivers are also welcome to attend.

Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services Family Caregiver Support Program is sponsoring a free "Coffee and Conversation" for seniors in the LGBT community. Their friends, family members and caregivers are also welcome to attend.

The informal gathering will take place on Thursday, November 19, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., at Elsie Stuhr Center, 5550 SW Hall Blvd., Beaverton.

"We want seniors in Washington County who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender to know there are resources and support for them," says Program Coordinator Deborah Letourneau. "This gathering is a safe place to discuss issues they may be facing or questions they might have."
