Ballot packets no longer contain an optional secrecy sleeve. Secrecy sleeves are partial envelopes voters would traditionally place their completed ballots inside of to ensure election and postal workers could not see how they voted. Over the past few years, most Oregon counties have moved away from using secrecy sleeves, including Washington County. Voters can trust that their ballots remain safe and secure with the new privacy weave printed onto their Official Ballot Return Envelope. The Secretary of State’s Office has approved this change, allowing Washington County Elections to save taxpayers $24,000 annually by not printing the additional envelopes.

Return your ballot by mail or in an Official Ballot Drop Site.
