Counseling and Victims’ Services Program Celebrates New Location

On Thursday, December 3, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., the Washington County Counseling & Victims' Services Program (CVS) will host an Open House to celebrate its new location at 160 SW Washington St., Hillsboro, OR.

CVS provides free mental health, family and couples counseling to the community, as well as advocacy for crime victims whose offenders are under the supervision of the County's Parole and Probation Division. CVS is a learning clinic where counseling services are provided by graduate students from Portland State University, Lewis & Clark and Pacific University.

CVS, a program of Community Corrections, originally opened its doors in 2000 and resided in the Washington County Courthouse building for the past 15 years. The move to a more family-friendly location, closer to transit and parking, will also allow CVS to offer expanded evening and weekend hours for appointments.
