Retirement comes after 24 years of service to local governments.

Como reacción a la declarada “pausa de dos semanas” y “confinamiento (o en inglés ‘freeze’) de dos semanas” de la gobernadora Kate Brown, los servicios del Condado de Washington se ofrecerán, hasta donde sea posible, de manera remota, es decir, a distancia.

Under Governor Brown’s “Two-Week Pause” and “Two-Week Freeze,” many services provided by Washington County will be provided remotely or by appointment only.

Emergency declaration will help Washington County and many other public agencies and organizations continue work to limit the spread of novel coronavirus.

Concerns over meeting federal standards for transmitting Oregon Cultural Trust CARES grant funds prompted Washington County to refrain from participating in the program.

All county facilities returned to their usual schedules today after multiple days of closure due to wildfire smoke.

All Washington County facilities will remain closed to the public throughout Thursday, September 17, due to continued poor air quality.
