Audio and Supporting Documents Available from Transition Planning Team Briefing
The Community Participation Transition Planning Team convened this week to receive an update on work done over the last two months regarding the future staffing model for the current Citizen Participation Organization (CPO) program. Hear the audio file from the meeting and read a memo regarding the staffing plan going forward.
The Community Participation Transition Planning Team includes individuals currently involved in the CPOs, professional community involvement practitioners, representatives from city, county and special district organizations and individuals representing historically under-represented communities. The transition process was prompted in the fall of 2014 when OSU Extension Service announced that it was re-evaluating its strengths and role and would no longer administer Washington County's program.
More information about the transition planning process is available on the Transition Planning Team's website at: http://www.co.washington.or.us/CPO/transition.cfm
The public is encouraged to make comments or ask questions throughout the transition process. Community input will be gathered by sending email to [email protected] or by calling 503-846-8685.
