Tattersall named permanent manager for Cooperative Library Services

Washington County Administrator Robert Davis announced today that Lisa Tattersall has been appointed to serve as the permanent manager of Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS), a partnership of the county, nine cities and three non-profit associations. Tattersall had been serving as the cooperative's interim manager since March of 2018.

"Lisa is highly regarded, not only within our county organization, but throughout the membership of the cooperative," said Davis. "She has clearly demonstrated her ability to manage WCCLS these last six months as well as her commitment to the increasingly changing and important role libraries are playing in our community. We are honored to have her as part of our management team."

Tattersall brings 11 years of experience to the position, including seven years of service with WCCLS. She had worked within the automation program and as a supervisor for countywide digital collections and services for adult patrons before her appointment as interim manager. Prior to her experience with Washington County, Tattersall worked for the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library in Oregon as well as the Vancouver Public Library, Burnaby Public Library and Simon Fraser University, all in British Columbia, Canada.

Tattersall earned a master of library and information science and a bachelor of arts in German, both from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
