County Closes Facilities to Public at Noon

All county facilities will close to the public beginning at noon due to the deteriorating weather situation. Law enforcement, support for 24-hour facilities, snow and ice removal and other storm response operations will continue. All meetings, events and non-emergency appointments with members of the public will be rescheduled.

The County Administrator has also determined that County employees not assigned to 24-hour and emergency response work will be dismissed at 2 p.m. today, due to safety concerns related to snowfall expected prior to the evening commute.

The public is asked to monitor the Washington County website or social media feeds to learn more about storm response. Updates about clearing snow and ice from the County road system can be found at www.wc-roads.com.
