HOW GOES THE LAND
Presentation and Discussion
Metro, our regional government, is initiating the 2018 urban growth management decision process. Depending on the decisions made by the Metro Council, this could result in an expansion of the three-county region's Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) in 2018 to accommodate population growth for the next 20 years. Tim O'Brien, Principal Regional Planner from Metro, will provide an overview of the growth management process, how it differs from previous growth management decisions and citizen involvement opportunities.
Q & A
Audience questions. Representatives of local jurisdictions are welcome to attend and take part for comments that Metro is not able to speak to, but are appropriate to discuss in our community.
