Six Boundary Change Proposals to be Considered
The effort to better balance population between commissioner districts started with a public vote to change the County Charter last November, and it will likely conclude with a public hearing and vote from the Board of Commissioners next Tuesday. The staff report for the hearing includes each of the five proposals developed by PSU's Population Research Center and an additional option developed by staff in response to early public input and feedback from the commissioners. All public comments received through June 3rd are also included.
The June 23rd Board of Commissioners meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Public Services Building, 155 N. First Avenue, Hillsboro.
