Proclamation LGBTQ Pride Month 2020

Board of Commissioners issue Pride Month proclamation

The Washington County Board of Commissioners have proclaimed June 2020 as LGBTQ Pride Month in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning neighbors, coworkers, friends and family members.

In addition to a celebration of our diverse LGBTQ community, the proclamation references the ongoing struggle for dignity, equality and personal safety for LGBTQ people and that much work remains to be done to ensure an inclusive society for all.
