Board of Commissioners issue Hispanic Heritage Month Proclamation

Today, in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Washington County Board of Commissioners dedicate September 15 to October 15, 2019 as Hispanic Heritage Month in Washington County. In recognition of this year’s theme, “Hispanic Americans: A History of Serving our Nation,” and the legacy of Hispanic and Latino Americans who continue to serve in significant and enduring ways, the Board encourages all residents of Washington County to reflect on the rich diversity of the Latino community and celebrate the many ways they contribute to our nation and our neighborhoods alike.
