Code Enforcement Officers Appreciation Week
The Board of County Commissioners have joined Governor Kulongoski in proclaiming August 10th through the 14th as Oregon Code Enforcement Appreciation Week.
The Board recognizes the good work done by Code Enforcement Officers to better the quality of life for the citizens of Oregon. Code Enforcement Officers provide for the safety, health and welfare of the citizens in the community through the enforcement of the county's ordinances dealing with issues such as building, zoning, housing, animal control, environmental, health and life safety.
The Board of Commissioners proclaim August 10 through August 14, 2009 as Code Enforcement Officers Appreciation Week in Washington County.
