Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, November 4 - 10, 2012

People are often unaware of the importance of the shelter and Animal Services to the community. Issuing a proclamation declaring the first week of November as "Animal Shelter Appreciation Week" will help improve that awareness.

Therefore, the Department of Health and Human Services requests that the Washington County Board of Commissioners designate November 4-10, 2012, as "Animal Shelter Appreciation Week" in Washington County.
