Auditor Releases Check-up on Financial Policies Audit

The County Auditor found progress made on implementing two recommendations that called for new and updated County financial policies. The last recommendation was for the Budget Office to develop a written policy addressing user access to software. This recommendation has not yet been started.

County Auditor Kristine Adams-Wannberg said, "I'm encouraged by the work the County has done so far on the draft financial policies. There is more work to be done, and the finance professionals are on a useful path."

The County Auditor will follow-up on the status of implementing the three recommendations in a year.
