Today, Washington County Auditor Kristine Adams-Wannberg issued her 2024 annual report. The report provides a description of the Auditor’s Office’s activities during 2024 and a plan for the upcoming year.
Adams-Wannberg said, “It’s been a great year. By the end of 2024, the office will have wrapped up two meaty audits and started a couple of new audits. This year we also finished three follow-up reviews and implemented new audit software. In 2025, we’ll be asking for ideas for new audit topics and working toward passing the office’s first quality assurance review.”
The report highlights areas in 2025 the County Auditor will be working toward. One of these is a quality assurance review (an audit of the auditor) by the Association of Local Government Auditors.
